The Castlewellan Show 2025 brought a vibrant celebration of rural life to Castlewellan Forest Park on Saturday, 19 July 2025, welcoming thousands of visitors for a full day of agriculture, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Blessed with tremendous weather and strong crowds, the one-day show once again proved why it remains one of the most anticipated rural events in the region.
One of the standout highlights of the day was the impressive turnout in the sheep rings. Almost 900 sheep graced the competition rings, creating an exciting atmosphere as farmers and breeders showcased the quality of their livestock. Alongside the sheep classes, visitors enjoyed extensive livestock judging featuring cattle, horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, poultry, rabbits, and cavies.
