- Saturday 18th July 2026
- What time does the Castlewellan Show open?
- The show opens to the public at 9:00am, with competitions and activities running throughout the day. We recommend arriving early to make the most of everything on offer.
- Is there parking available at the event?
- Yes — on-site parking is available within Castlewellan Forest Park. Stewards will direct you on arrival. Accessible parking spaces are also provided for visitors with mobility needs.
- How much is parking?
- Parking is FREE within Castlewellan Forest Park on Show Day
- Are there children’s activities at the show?
- Absolutely! From our funfair with bouncy castle, inflatable slide, bumping cars, inflatable maze, bungee trampoline, games trailer and face painting. We have interactive displays to animal encounters. There is plenty to keep younger visitors entertained.
- Do I need to buy my tickets in advance?
- You can still purchase your tickets on the gate on show day. Tickets bought in advance online are 20% cheaper. We recommend advance purchase for speed on entry on show day
- Can I bring my dog to the show?
- Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your pet and be mindful around livestock and busy areas.
- What are the Opening Hours?
- Castlewellan Agricultural Show: 9am to 5pm.
- Who runs Castlewellan Show?
- The show is run by an organising committee and team of volunteers.
- How much are the tickets?
- Tickets can be purchased online at a discounted rate. Start your day without a hitch by ensuring you have your entry tickets ready before you arrive to speed up the admission process. Please note, we cannot accept screenshots. Entry fee can also be paid at the gate on show day. At gate: Adult: £15.00 online £12.00 At gate: Age 13-16 £5.00 online £4.00 Children under 12 are free of charge.
